A resident of Edmonds, Doug has practiced law in Lynnwood since 1989. Prior to that time, he was a partner in the Seattle firm now known as Davis Wright Tremaine. Mr. Purcell is able to bring his experience to bear on legal issues of high complexity, with knowledge, fairness and reasonably good humor.
With over thirty years in practice, Doug Purcell brings that vast amount of experience to alternative dispute resolution, including having successfully and completely resolved one mediation which started with a physical confrontation in the conference room.
He has been very active in the Edmonds and South Snohomish County communities, having, among other things, served for 18 years as the Fireworks Chairman for the Edmonds Fourth of July, President of the Rotary Club of Edmonds and General Counsel to the South Snohomish County Chamber of Commerce.
